Tiffany is a self-taught artist born in Hong Kong and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her journey as an artist began with scribbles of oil pastel rainbows as a child and continued with doodles of notable quotes in the privacy of sketchbooks and the safety of home. Growing up in the dichotomy of Hong Kong’s cityscape and Hawaii’s diverse landscape, she appreciates the immaculate rigidity of angles and symmetry as well as the fluidity of the organic world.
She graduated from the University of Hawaii Manoa with a Bachelor of Education, and currently teaches second grade at Hawaii Baptist Academy and a summer art course at Kamehameha Schools. In both environments, she is able to blend her passions of education and visual expression. Tiffany strives to grow as an artist by reflecting, creating, and inspiring.
about my work
Tiffany’s paintings are characterized by realism, a wide spectrum of colors, and bold compositions. She primarily works with paints – oils, acrylics, and watercolors. Her art is a reflection of her interaction with the intricacies of nature and a way to document experiences. She is especially drawn to the beauty, complexity, and grandeur of the created world. Tiffany hopes to share her views, her life, and her God with you through her artwork.
She welcomes commissions from people seeking to transform favorite photographs into an artwork, and will strive to capture the essence of each moment.
